According to the Decree 40/2017. (XII. 4.) of the Ministry of the Interior, amended in January 2024, it is mandatory for almost all real estate.
In recent years, there has been an increasing number of accidents involving personal injury that can be traced back to the electric network, so the Ministry of National Economy amended Government Decree No. 40/2017. (XII. 4.). According to the new regulation, the inspection of the electric network in all properties is MANDATORY at least EVERY 6 YEARS. The exception is non-residential properties, where this period is shorter, every 3 years, etc.
